Meet our Pastor!

Bill Gies – Born in Scott City, KS, where family was always very important.  Attended Southwestern College and received a teaching degree and proceeded to teach at Southeast of Saline from 1982-2013.  While teaching at Bethany College then at Junction City,  God’s call became loud and clear.  So, at 58, instead of lesson plans and parent teacher conferences, it became sermons and home and hospital visits.  As a half-time local pastor, he is also back to teaching at Ell Saline middle school/high school just down Anderson Street.
